What this job involves -
Supports the operational technology networks that maintain critical infrastructure (such as but not limited to building management systems, lighting controls, nurse call and other facility related systems) across the organization's facilities. This role assists in connecting operational and information technologies, helping ensure Operation Technology systems remain secure, reliable, and efficient. The position supports system integrity, compliance requirements, and operational goals under the guidance of senior team members.

What is your day to day?

Network Infrastructure Support

  • Assist with Operational Technology equipment installation, configuration, and maintenance
  • Support configuration and troubleshooting of network components including switches, firewalls, and virtual environments
  • Help maintain hypervisor environments under supervision
  • Implement established OT standards for network reliability and security
  • Support infrastructure solutions that accommodate operational requirements
  • Handle and escalate OT system issues

Security and Risk Management

  • Assist with defining and implementing security measured for T networks
  • Support firmware and software updates across OT systems
  • Help coordinate vulnerability assessments and patch implementation
  • Respond to basic OT-related incidents and vulnerabilities with escalation as needed

Asset Management and Documentation

  • Track OT network assets in the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS)
  • Document asset details according to regulatory and audit requirements
  • Maintain network configurations, system architectures, and recovery procedures
  • Support the development and update Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Methods of Procedure (MOPs)
  • Support change control processes and documentation standards

Stakeholder Coordination

  • Communicate with operations, engineering, and IT departments
  • Help translate business requirements into technical specifications
  • Maintain professional relationships with vendors, contractors, and internal teams
  • Support system enhancement priorities based on business needs
  • Participate in cross-functional activities for issue resolution

Project and Budget Management

  • Assist with OT-related projects
  • Manage allocated budgets, resources, and timelines
  • Coordinate vendor activities and contracts
  • Work with vendors and internal stakeholders to develop technical requirements for system changes

Desired experience and technical skills
Required

  • 2-4 years of experience in a technical support, coordination, or administrative role
  • Strong organizational skills with ability to manage multiple projects and priorities
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in documentation and record-keeping
  • Demonstrated ability to learn new technical systems and processes quickly
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Ability to work independently and take initiative on assigned tasks
  • Experience coordinating with vendors, contractors, or external service providers
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and database management
  • Problem-solving mindset with ability to troubleshoot basic technical issues
  • Reliable and consistent work performance with strong work ethic

Preferred

  • Associate's degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, related field, or equivalent experience
  • Previous experience in industrial, healthcare, manufacturing, or critical infrastructure environments
  • Basic understanding of network systems, building automation, or facility management systems
  • Experience with asset management systems or CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management Systems)
  • Familiarity with project coordination or administrative support roles
  • Basic technical aptitude with willingness to learn specialized OT systems and protocols
  • Experience with inventory management or procurement processes
  • Industry certifications or willingness to pursue relevant training

Estimated total compensation for this position:

100,000.00 - 120,000.00 USD per year

The total compensation range is an estimate and not guaranteed. An employment offer is based on an applicant's education, experience, skills, abilities, geographic location, internal equity and alignment with market data .
