Position: Critical Infrastructure Technician (Logisitics)
Location: Cheyenne, WY

What This Job Involves

Critical Systems Support

  • Monitor, operate, and maintain critical facility infrastructure, including UPS systems, generators, HVAC, and electrical distribution.
  • Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on critical systems.
  • Respond promptly to alarms and emergencies, ensuring swift resolution and thorough documentation.

Logistics & Inventory Management

  • Coordinate the receipt, storage, and movement of critical equipment and materials.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records for spare parts, tools, and consumables.
  • Schedule and oversee deliveries, ensuring compliance with safety and security protocols.
  • Support asset tagging, tracking, and documentation of infrastructure components.

Vendor & Contractor Coordination

  • Liaise with vendors and contractors for scheduled maintenance, repairs, and equipment deliveries.
  • Ensure all third-party personnel adhere to site safety and operational procedures.

Documentation & Compliance

  • Maintain detailed logs, reports, and documentation for audits and compliance purposes.
  • Assist in developing and enforcing standard operating procedures (SOPs).

Safety & Risk Management

  • Enforce safety standards and participate in risk assessments.
  • Support emergency response drills and incident investigations

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Facilities Management, or a related field preferred.
  • 3+ years of experience in data center or critical infrastructure environments, or in a logistics-focused role.
  • Strong understanding of electrical and mechanical systems.
  • Experience with logistics, inventory systems, and vendor coordination.
  • Familiarity with CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management Systems) and BMS (Building Management Systems) is a plus.
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and customer service skills.
  • Knowledge of building automation, water treatment, and fire/life safety systems.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and other office automation tools.
  • Positive team attitude and strong interpersonal skills.

Physical Requirements

  • Regularly required to walk long distances across campus.
  • Must frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds, and occasionally up to 100 pounds.

Target compensation is $27-34/hr
