Job Title: Procurement Agent Location: San Antonio TX Duration: 12 months assignment with possible extension. Shift Schedule: Must be available to work 1st & 2nd shift Pay rate: $40/hr - $50/hr (Depends on Experience) Role & Responsibilities: Performs continuous review and analysis of demand and supply. Prepares and executes proprietary information agreements. Supports sourcing strategies, negotiations and documenting of contracts and agreements. Communicates performance expectations and metrics to evaluate and monitor supplier performance. This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite in San Antonio. Required Skills/Experience: Bachelor's degree or higher. 3-5+ years of experience in Supplier Management/ Procurement as a Purchasing Agent or Buyer. 3-5+ years of experience in Contracts & Pricing and/or Supplier Management Procurement. 3-5+ years of experience interpreting and/or enforcing contract terms and conditions. 3-5+ years of experience with various contract types for example: Time & Materials, Firm Fixed Price, Cost Plus type Government contracts, etc. 3-5+ years of experience working with U.S. Department of Defense contracts. 3-5+ years of experience with FAR (Federal Acquisition Regulations). 3-5+ years of experience and/or training with the Truth in Negotiations Act (TINA). Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience): Bachelor's degree or higher. Education / Experience: Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 3-10+ or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Master1-8+ years' related work experience , 7-14+ years' related work experience, etc.).
