The Curators of the University of Missouri/University of Missouri-Columbia - Informatics and Data Science Specialists in Columbia, Missouri Job Description
Under the supervision of the Director, implements, modernizes, and/or administers the activities of the University of Missouri's Missouri Cancer Registry and Research Center (MCR). Minimum Qualifications
Master's degree in Data Science, Health Informatics, Bioinformatics, Health Information Technology or related field. One year of experience working in healthcare informatics with the following: pathology-based cancer registry systems; electronic pathology reporting; Python scripts and machine learning models; electronic medical records (EMR) systems and digital pathology platforms; writing and executing complex SQL queries; and facilitating data retrieval and analysis. ALTERNATE: Bachelor's degree and three years of the above experience. Anticipated Hiring Range
This position is grant funded. Employment is contingent upon available grant funding. Anticipated Hiring Range: $65,894 - $83,179. Application Materials
