Agropur is seeking an Automated Systems Project Managerto join its corporate team in St-Hubert. The Automated Systems Project Manager is responsible for overseeing the installation, configuration, and maintenance of automated systems to ensure the reduction of raw material losses. This role involves leading technical teams, collaborating with production and engineering departments, and providing ongoing training to staff on new technologies and procedures.

The Automated Systems Project Manager will monitor system performance, manage automation projects, and ensure seamless integration with IT infrastructure. Additionally, the role requires documenting processes, participating in cross-functional meetings, and working with IT, OT, and cybersecurity teams to maintain standards and compliance.

• Salary range 006: 95 900$ to 119 900$ (Salary will be determined based on skills, education, training & experience related to the position.)

What's involved in this role

• Oversee the installation, configuration, and maintenance of automated systems to ensure optimal performance.

• Lead technical teams in coordinating activities to maintain and improve automated equipment functionality.

• Collaborate with production and engineering departments to identify automation needs and develop effective solutions.

• Provide ongoing training to operators and technicians on new technologies and automated procedures to ensure proficiency.

• Monitor and analyze the performance of automated systems, making necessary adjustments to enhance efficiency and productivity.

• Manage automation projects from planning through execution, ensuring adherence to deadlines and budgets.

• Document processes and procedures related to automated systems, including writing detailed technical reports.

• Facilitate communication between OT and IT teams to ensure seamless integration of automated systems with IT infrastructure.

• Participate in cross-functional meetings to discuss ongoing projects and identify potential improvements.

• Collaborate with the cybersecurity team to ensure automated systems comply with security standards and protect against potential threats.

What you need to join our team:

• University degreein Electrical Engineering, Automation, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.

• Minimum of 5 years of experiencerequired in managing automation projects and coordinating technical teams.

• Proficiency in programming languagesused in automation (PLC, HMI).

• Experience in the food industry(an asset).

• Strong problem-solving and data analysis skills.

• Willingness to travelwithin Canada.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skillsin both French and English. (English is required to work with colleagues from other Canadian provinces.)
