How you will make history here...

  • Oversee daily operations in the distribution center, ensuring the safe and efficient movement of goods.
  • Play a key role in achieving performance targets in safety, quality, cost, service, and teamwork.
  • Lead a large team and drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency.
  • Contribute to a culture of safety, accountability, and excellence in warehouse operations.

What you will do...

  • Supervise all warehouse activities including shipping, receiving, inventory management, and material handling.
  • Ensure accurate and timely processing of incoming and outgoing shipments.
  • Monitor compliance with internal procedures and external regulations (e.g., OSHA, DOT).
  • Maintain equipment, warehouse space, and supply levels.
  • Lead process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce costs.
  • Conduct regular inventory audits and resolve discrepancies.
  • Develop and maintain accurate records and reporting practices.
  • Manage and coach direct reports, resolve conflicts, and maintain team morale.
  • Collaborate on budget planning and control expenses.
  • Drive performance aligned with departmental goals: safety, quality, cost, service, and citizenship.

Who you will work with...

  • Direct Reports:Approximately 25 employees, including support coordinators and schedulers.
  • Internal Teams:Operations, logistics, safety, quality, and compliance teams.
  • Leadership:Participate in hiring decisions, performance evaluations, and disciplinary actions.

What you bring to the table... (Required Skills)

  • High School Diploma.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and leadership skills.
  • Ability to motivate and lead teams in a fast-paced environment.
  • High attention to detail with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Comfortable interpreting written, verbal, and diagram-based instructions.
  • Proficient with numbers, including ratios, percentages, and basic math.
  • Computer proficiency in:
    • Time and Attendance systems
    • Microsoft Outlook and Windows-based applications (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint)
    • Uber-TMS
    • Encompass or ELD systems
  • Capable of delivering presentations and training to various audiences.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Ability to obtain forklift certification through company training.

It would be nice if you have... (Preferred Skills)

  • Experience with warehouse management systems and logistics software.
  • Familiarity with lean or continuous improvement methodologies.
  • Experience with SAP
  • At least 2 years professional experience

Compensation and Benefits:

The target base salary range for this full-time, salaried position is between

$61,400-$88,200

Individual base pay depends on work location and additional factors such as experience, job-related skills, and relevant education or training. Total pay may include other forms of compensation. In addition, we offer competitive health, dental, 401k and wellness benefits beginning on the first day of employment.
