Operations Manager

• Bachelor's degree or military equivalent experience
• 3-7+ years of formal leadership experience in manufacturing or operations
• Proven ability to manage people, processes, and performance
• Strong understanding of production systems, quality, and safety standards

• Experience with lean manufacturing principles (standardized work, flow, pull, waste elimination)
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Financial acumen (budgeting, cost control, project justification)
• Experience leading cross-functional or special projects
• Ability to coach and mentor employees for performance and growth

• Lead day-to-day operations within a value stream, ensuring production goals are met
• Manage and develop a team of 30-50 employees, driving performance and engagement
• Collaborate with leadership to control costs and implement improvement initiatives
• Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and company policies
• Support and document performance using the Steelcase Employee Performance System (SEPS)
