Job Profile Summary

This role focuses on managing operational aspects of ongoing projects from initiation through completion and serves as liaison between project management and planning, project team, and line management. In addition, this role focuses on performing the following Clinical Project Management duties: Oversees the clinical aspects of ongoing projects and serves as liaison between project management and planning, project team, line management and the clinical members involved. Assesses project issues and develops resolutions to meet productivity, quality, and client-satisfaction goals and objectives. Develops mechanisms for monitoring project progress and for intervention and problem solving with project managers, line managers, clients and other stakeholders. A professional individual contributor role that may direct the work of other lower level professionals or manage processes and programs. The majority of time is spent overseeing the design, implementation or delivery of processes, programs and policies using specialized knowledge and skills typically acquired through advanced education. An experienced level role that applies practical knowledge of job area typically obtained through advanced education and work experience. Works independently with general supervision, problems faced are difficult but typically not complex, and may influence others within the job area through explanation of facts, policies and practices.

Job Overview

This position is responsible for coordinating, tracking, and, most importantly, driving the progress of clinical projects associated with strategic quality and patient safety initiatives. Works in partnership with several stakeholders to manages projects from inception to completion, provide project stakeholder support, ensure effective communications, and influencing members of project teams.

Job Description

Minimum Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's degree in a clinical field.

2. Three (3) years of experience in project or program management.

Preferred Qualifications:

1. Current licenses, certifications, and registrations related to degree.

Duties and Responsibilities: The duties and responsibilities listed below are intended to describe the general nature of work and are not intended to be an all-inclusive list. Other duties and responsibilities may be assigned.

1. Leads successful implementation of programs and explore ways of continual improvement.

2. Manages projects from inception to completion. Creates timelines and work plans for assessment, design, development, implementation and evaluation phases of project.

3. Tracks progress against the timeline and deliverables.

4. Convenes and manages committees or working groups to develop and sustain new and existing programs. Oversee implementation of action items.

5. Structures and manages the process for building buy-in among key stakeholders.

6. Manages events, meetings, and retreats including scheduling and logistical arrangements, serving as liaison to presenters/invitees, agenda preparation, materials distribution, minutes, follow-up, media, and audio-visual needs.

7. Prepares reports and presentations; collects and organizes data and program information for proposals, reports, presentations, and evaluations.

8. Works with evaluation team to develop program metrics and evaluation plans.

9. Serves as primary liaison to internal participants and external partners.

10. Provides excellent internal and external communications.

1. Strong interpersonal and management skills to interact with healthcare leadership and support staff. Highly professional manner with an ability to maintain sensitivity, confidentiality, and tactfulness.

2. Outstanding attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to anticipate programmatic needs. Ability to lead and direct others by setting priorities for completing multiple tasks.

3. Excellent writing skills including the ability to draft and present program materials.

4. Ability to work with a wide range of constituencies in a diverse community.

5. Works proactively and positively with all levels of staff and instill the highest standards of practice.

6. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Shows good judgment, prioritizes.

7. Ability to work independently, but also comfortable asking for help/input from others where needed.

8. Comfortable with ambiguity-works to resolve open questions, can define a process to resolve ambiguity, is comfortable that the plan may change.

9. Concise and effective verbal and written communication skills-can talk easily to a variety of audiences.

10. Self-motivated and tenacious-looks for interesting and meaningful analysis and insights, seeks opportunities to do things better.

11. Ability to work urgently in a fast-paced and results-oriented environment.

12. Knowledge of project management.
