Job DescriptionThis role is to be based in San Francisco and will require you to be in the office 3 days a week. *Contributes to the establishment and development of a high performing and effective Events Delivery Team, leading multiple event delivery teams focused on individual events across multiple Market pillars. *Leads the team through change and build a customer first operation which provides efficient and effective value add service to the Pillars, Finance and all stakeholders. *Event service delivery and reporting: responsible for leading the delivery of high quality and cost-effective event operations services to the Market Pillars and transparent, timely and accurate reporting of event delivery to event teams. *Drives a culture of best practice and continuous improvement (skills, tools, systems and execution of key events management disciplines) *Establishes and implements agreed operating level agreements for shared services with the Pillars and other across Informa Operations teams. *Establishes the framework for management and negotiation of 3rd party suppliers for the seamless delivery of events, set up of SLA and project management with suppliers. *Ensures timely and accurate reporting of non-financial KPIs and OKRs. *Implements the operation of OKRs within the Event Delivery team *Enables systems best practice and training for all Events teams in all pillars (configuring virtual event platforms) *Establishes the Health and safety framework for set up of events/ compliance to necessary standards *Responsible for submitting monthly expense forecasts to Finance team. *Implements and advocates sustainable solutions within Event delivery. Responsible for tracking and reporting sustainability metrics. *This position will be focused on Game Developer's Conference within Tech Events at Informa Festivals. Scheduled assignments are based on business needs. Qualifications*Proven leadership track record in Event Operations. *An influential leader with the ability to operate at both strategic and operational levels. *Building and maintaining relationships and understanding customer needs. *Managing stakeholders internally and externally *Strong collaboration and communication skills written, verbal, presentation *Prior experience of establishing a shared service operation. *Proven expertise in managing project activity, ability to prioritise and manage time efficiently. *Demonstrable experience of leading and managing a team of operational colleagues *Change leadership; leading colleagues and team in a rapidly changing environment.
