Role Asset Integrity Lead for Piping/Welding leads a team that is implementing the mechanical integrity piping program for in-service piping and executing quality assurance and quality control for new construction to ensure piping is installed, maintained, and operated in a safe and reliable manner. This role is responsible for ensuring execution of planning, coordination, and inspection activities to meet applicable code, jurisdictional, and company requirements. Responsibilities Piping Inspection & Quality Management * Provide leadership for team to achieve piping inspections results/expectations safely for Tennessee Operations (TNO) Site * Assist in stewardship of piping quality standards, manuals, and policies * Responsible for team's execution of piping inspections, test plans, and implementing management systems to ensure compliance with applicable requirements * Participate in asset integrity and piping inspection related audits and addressing findings Team Leadership & Development * Provide ongoing coaching and responsible for training and development of piping inspectors and shop/field weld inspectors * Understand, develop, and leverage group member's strengths while managing workload and staffing levels * Coordinate with team members to ensure quality and consistency of inspections Strategic & Cross-Functional Management * Develop strategic vision and provide leadership for key department and division initiatives * Interface with other engineering functions and contractor organizations * Manage group controllable expenditures and communicate relevant information to team members Qualifications * Bachelor's degree in engineering * Effective communication skills * Two years + of experience in mechanical integrity, engineering, or inspection * Familiarity with mechanical integrity inspections, QA/QC, and non-destructive examination (NDE) techniques * Knowledge of safety regulations and standards related to engineering/inspection in the chemical industry What will make you stand out * Piping/welding inspection experiences * Leadership experience * API 570 certification * CWI certification Please Note: Eastman will not accept applicants for this offered position who require visa sponsorship, including those whose status is F-1 visa OPT who subsequently would require ongoing visa sponsorship.
