Our group, the Joint Defense Support Group within SPA's Sea Land Air (SLA) Division, supports the Surface Community and components of the United States Navy by providing program management, requirements management, force development, and readiness support in Washington DC and the Fleet concentration areas. We provide timely, objective, analytic assessments, strategic planning, and expert operational, technical, and acquisition support to the Maritime communities, and related agencies, allies, and partners. We are trusted agents of the senior and operational leadership in the Fleet, OPNAV, NAVSEA, and the Royal Canadian and Royal Australian Navies. We play key roles in providing insights and strategies to address current and emerging challenges to national security and have tremendous impact on our client's success in solving their most important issues. SPA has an immediate need for a Senior Systems Engineer to support NSWCDD in Dahlgren, VA. #FC Responsibilities SPA has an opportunity to fill a full-time Senior Systems Engineer position in support of the Naval Surface Warfare Center Dahlgren Division (NSWCDD) for SPEIR Systems Engineering and Integration with the Integrated Combat System and Aegis Weapon System (AWS) programs. This billet needs to have several years of systems experience part from active-duty Navy, so it is not optimal for a newly separated Sailor. This may include:
Leveraging systems engineering knowledge in the development, review and assessment of artifacts across all domains of systems engineering throughout the entire SE "V".
