Schedule Details:This position is for the Cardiovascular Stress testing and EKG department on an as needed basis. Pool staff will work days Monday-Friday typically 8-4:30pm or 8:30-5pm including some weekends from 7-3:30pm. Shift locations worked will be primarily for Waukesha Memorial Hospital or the Heart & Vascular Center at ProHealth Care. What You Will Do: The Exercise Specialist assists in the care of the cardiac patient in multiple modalities. Provides all patient care in the Cardiac-Pulmonary department and ECP, where appropriate. Provides lifestyle modification, education and exercise prescription for the Cardiovascular and Pulmonary patients and community education. What You Will Need: Bachelors in Fitness/Sports Studies Required. Bachelor of Science in one of the following areas: Kinesiology, Exercise Science, Health Human Performance & Recreation, Exercise Physiology Minimum License: BLS (CPR),ACLS ACLS within 1 year of hire.
