We are seeking a Senior Systems Engineer to supportAir Force Tactical Exploitation of National Capabilities (AF TENCAP) prototyping efforts. Efforts center on full spectrum of Research, Development, Test, and Evaluation (RDT&E) systems engineering services in support of rapid prototype development and integration activities to meet emergent RDT&E requirements of AF TENCAP, its Space Force partners, and their stakeholders.

As a Senior Systems Engineer you will work closely with the Chief and Lead Systems Engineers to deliver rapid, innovative, and cost-effective capabilities across all warfighting domains. Your expertise will be integral in delivering successful project outcomes. You need experience in systems engineering, system design and integration, and a strong background in supporting DoD service organizations and Intelligence Community agencies to be successful in this role. This role requires the ability to manage multiple, simultaneous projects. The key responsibilities may include contributing to Systems Engineering Management Plans (SEMP), executing projects utilizing MBSE and Agile DevSecOps methodologies, conduct requirements management, conduct risk management and technical reviews, perform technical and mission analyses, conduct test and evaluation, and conduct studies and performance assessments of system and architecture alternatives. The salary range for this role is $137,000 -205,000 annually. Final compensation for this position will be determined by various factors including, but not limited to, relevant work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications.

Required

  • ABET accredited BS degree
  • 14 years of related experience
  • Experience supporting classified DoD/IC systems
  • Experience developing or testing programs involving geolocation, sensor data fusion, special operations, situational awareness, cyberspace or spectrum warfare, air superiority, and/or command and control
  • Experience within prototyping efforts
  • In-depth knowledge of DoD Test and Evaluation to include planning, execution and reporting
  • Experience leading technical teams
  • Must have an in-scope DoD Secret security clearance

Desired

  • ABET accredited MS or PhD
  • Experience using MBSE and Digital Engineering Tools (e.g., Aras Innovator, Cameo, DOORS, AFSIM, Confluence, Jira)
  • Experience working in an Agile team/framework
