The Specialist, Feasibility & Proposal Development plays a key role in supporting the viability of clinical trials, sponsored testing, IVD trials, or companion diagnostic (CDx) development. Acting as a cross-functional liaison, this position evaluates client protocols and supporting documents to ensure alignment with internal capabilities, and collaborates with internal stakeholders to assess technical feasibility, regulatory compliance, and resource availability. This role is accountable for leading the end-to-end proposal process-from feasibility to the creation of competitive, high-quality budget/proposals for new business opportunities. Specialist, Feasibility & Proposal Development, is also responsible for the development of Statements of Work (SOWs) and Change Orders (COs), ensuring service offerings are accurately represented and operationally achievable.


  • Conduct internal feasibility and consult with line management to provide strategic solutions for new opportunities
  • Provide detailed reviews of client documents and accurately identify key service requirements and assumptions needed for budget/proposal development.
  • Complete budget/proposal deliverables with accuracy with guidance from line management
  • Revise budget/proposals as requested
  • Develop statements of work and liaise with key internal stakeholders as needed i.e. legal department/functional team members
  • Develop amendments to SOWs as required and liaise with key internal stakeholders as needed i.e. legal department/functional team members
  • Develop change orders
  • Ensure quality control of client deliverables
  • Other duties as needed

Required Work Experience:

  • 5+ years of experience in laboratory, biopharma, and or diagnostic industry

Preferred Work Experience:

  • 5+ years of experience in a similar role in a contract research organization.

  • Remote and/or office-based work

  • Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to work independently, prioritizing workload, keeping others informed of progress, timelines and any issues to meet established deadlines
  • Skilled user of Microsoft Office suite and other computer-based applications.
  • Attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy under time pressure
  • Ability to identify opportunities for improvement and create solutions through continuous and effective communication with management
  • Able to work in a collaborative team environment to support departmental/company goals and values

Education:

Bachelor's Degree Bachelor's Degree orequivalent work experience
