Helps handle day-to-day functions of the sanitation department. Keep assigned equipment and area clean and ready for production. Know how to handle cleaning Chemicals safely with the use of protective Equipment. Follow safe work procedures and GMP regulations. Responsible for ensuring the proper safe and efficient operation of their duties as required. Adhere to the duty schedule and follow supervisory instructions as required.

Responsibilities



  • Work in accordance with G.M.P. (Good Manufacturing Practices) regulations.


  • Conduct safe and efficient cleaning of equipment and supplies.
  • Properly use and understand the limitations of cleaning compounds.
  • Understand and adhere to Safety Data Sheets. and product labels.
  • Crawl under, over, and around equipment in order to clean
  • Follow safety protocols while cleaning- confined spaces, high places, loud noises
  • Ensures that all sanitation tasks, and responsibilities are performed and completed with the highest quality possible
  • Assist the team in the processing plant area whenever necessary, in order to insure facility cleanliness
  • Perform all other duties as assigned



Qualifications



  • A high school diploma or GED is preferred
  • Sanitation Experience as it relates to a manufacturing environment
  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Good communication and observational skills
  • Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and must also adapt to frequent changes that occur on the production line
