Job Title: Loan Setup Coordinator

Compensation: The base pay of the budgeted range is $24-27 per hour. Actual compensation offered may vary from the posted hiring range based on factors such as relevant experience, time in role, base salary of internal peers, prior performance, business sector, licensure requirements and/or skill level, and will be finalized at the time of offer.
FUNCTION: Responsible for issuing disclosures in compliance with regulations and orders all services needed for the file. Performs additional redisclosure requests through the active application to ensure strict compliance on all loans. Ensures all files are complete and compliant with Workers Credit Union policies, investor requirements, mortgage insurance standards, and applicable government loan regulations.
ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Review disclosure related data entered into the Loan Origination System ("LOS") for accuracy. Ensure proper loan set-up within the LOS and loan structure is accurate according to loan program and type.
- Inputs good faith fee data, prepares impounds and prepaid taxes/insurance to ensure correct figures are disclosed.
- Prepare and review initial disclosure packages including the Loan Estimate.
- Ensures proper delivery of the disclosure package to members through eSign or mail, depending on member response to electronic delivery
- Monitors and provide revised Loan Estimates within three days of a changed circumstance. Update the LOS to document the changed circumstance and Loan Estimate delivery timing.
- Reviews daily reports to ensure loans are disclosed according to regulation.
- Order and track required third-party reports such as appraisals, title, flood certifications, tax transcripts, and employment verifications.
- Provide exceptional customer service by promptly addressing member inquiries and concerns related to loan disclosures and setup.
- Support the origination and production process and ensure confidentiality of all borrowers and loan information.
- Uphold the Workers Credit Union "Workers Way" culture through daily interactions and behaviors.
- Perform other duties as assigned to support departmental and organizational goals.
Other Duties:
- May be asked to provide coverage in other WCU branches or departments.
- Adhere to all WCU policies and procedures which include security compliance and following guidelines intended to limit risk exposure to fraud and losses.
- Participates in department and/or organizational projects as directed.
- Performs other tasks or functions as required, requested, necessary or prudent.
- Maintains confidentiality of all member and credit union information and data.
- Regularly demonstrates behaviors as defined by the credit union's Fundamentals, which are part of the Workers Way culture program.
Education
- High School Diploma or Equivalent Required.
Experience:
- 1 year of banking experience. Skilled in reviewing and validating application fees, ordering third-party reports and ensuring compliance with TRID and investor guidelines. Proficient in coordinating with internal teams and external partners, and maintaining clear communication with originators and processors to ensure timely and accurate closings. Known for attention to detail, efficiency in pipeline management, and delivering exceptional service while upholding confidentiality and organizational values.
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities/Competencies:
- A successful Loan Setup Coordinator possesses stong knowledge of mortgage products and regulatory guidelines (including TRID, RESPA, and HMDA). Familiarity of loan origination systems, AUS platforms, and document management tools. Key skills include attention to detail, strong organization, effective communication, strong ability to manage multiple files and deadlines simultaneously and flexibility to adapt to changing regulations and internal processes. The role requires a customer-focused approach, confidentiality, adaptability, and collaboration with internal teams and external partners to ensure efficient, compliant and exceptional member service.

- Hybrid Work Environment: This position offers a hybrid work environment, combining remote work with regular on-site days at the Littleton Headquarters. This work environment is subject to change based on business needs.
