Night Shift Operations Supervisor (Sunday- Thursday)

1. About the Role

Step into a pivotal role as an Operations Supervisor at McKesson, a Fortune 10 company revolutionizing healthcare accessibility and affordability. In this dynamic position, you'll spearhead the seamless functioning of our distribution center, ensuring our operations align with McKesson's mission to enhance the health, happiness, and well-being of our communities. Collaborate closely with the Operations Manager and lead your team to new heights as you drive efficiency and innovation in our night shift operations.

NO RELOCATION ASSISTANCE PROVIDED: Must be within commutable distance.

Target Salary: $60K-63K + (night shift differential)

Hours: Must be flexible. Schedule shifts monthly with typical start time of 5PM but can be as late as 8PM (Sunday start time 3:30PM up to 9PM start time)

2. What You'll Do (Responsibilities)

• Assist the Operations Manager in planning, organizing, and directing warehouse activities to ensure successful night shift operations.
• Lead and inspire workers and lead persons to maintain high morale and work standards, fostering team development.
• Train and manage employee performance, proactively seeking solutions to root-level problems.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local company policies within warehouse operations.
• Control expenses, reduce employee turnover, and minimize overtime working hours.
• Maintain warehouse equipment and vehicles to meet exceptional company standards and ensure stellar housekeeping.
• Other duties may be assigned as needed to meet Company goals.

3. What We're Looking For (Requirements)

• Typically requires A minimum of 3 years of subject matter experience, with demonstrated leadership capabilities.
• 3+ years of experience in a large-size Distribution Center.
• Proficient in Excel and MS Office products, with excellent business communication skills.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment and make informed business decisions.
• Demonstrated employee engagement skills.
• Open to flexible night hours, Sunday through Thursday, with a start time of 5 PM, and willingness to adjust shifts and overtime as needed based on business requirements.

4. Specialized Knowledge & Skills

• Industry experience in logistics, supply chain, warehouse, manufacturing, or distribution environment preferred.
• Skilled in interviewing, coaching, evaluation, discipline, and record-keeping.
• Experience with DEA regulations is a plus.
• WMS experience preferred.
• Proficiency in MS Access and the ability to interpret and analyze data.
• High energy distribution center environment adaptability.
• May be required to work various shifts, including nights and days, with some overtime required.
