Learn more about us at cathaybank.com GENERAL SUMMARY The Privacy Officer is responsible for developing, implementing and monitoring the organization's privacy policies and procedures. The Privacy Officer will ensure compliance with applicable privacy laws and regulations, as well as provide guidance and support in areas such as data collection and storage, data use and sharing, and team member training. The Privacy Officer will foster a culture of privacy and security within the organization and work closely with all departments to ensure the protection of personal data. The Privacy Officer will also proactively identify and manage potential privacy risks and respond to privacy inquiries from internal and external stakeholders. The Privacy Officer is responsible for ensuring that an organization's use, collection, and management of personal information complies with legal and ethical considerations. This job requires a thorough understanding of privacy regulations and may involve creating and implementing privacy policies and procedures, conducting risk assessments, and providing training and education to team members.
