Under the supervision of the Department Head, the Business Manager I independently manages operational, financial, regulatory, and business activities of the Department of Pediatric Dentistry, ensuring compliance and efficient operations. Serving as the Assistant to the Department Head, this role liaises with the College of Dentistry's central administration on financial, business, procurement, and human resource processes. This role actively participates in departmental strategic planning, business expansion, and operational improvements. This position works closely with the Residency Program Coordinator, requiring a collaborative working relationship and cross-training as needed. Minimum Qualifications Required: 1. A. Bachelor's degree in accountancy, business administration, management, or a closely related field. OR B. Three (3) years (36 months) of work experience in accounting, business administration, fiscal management, or closely related experience. OR C. A combination of such education and/or work experience totaling three (3) years (36 months), as measured by the following conversion table or its proportional equivalent:
