The Assistant Wrestling Coach provides administrative, instructional, and recruiting support services under the direction and supervision of the Head Coach. Responsibilities: 
 
 
 Achieving a high level of competency in sport skill instruction, motivation, and tactical strategies under the direction of the Head CoachRecruiting student-athletes effectively under the direction of the Head CoachAssist in achieving competitive results that demonstrate athletic excellenceDemonstrating a sincere interest in the social, emotional, and academic development, as well as the athletic welfare, of student-athletesDemonstrating excellent writing, speaking and listening abilitiesExhibiting supportive and cooperative behavior in pursuing sport program goals established by the Head CoachResponsible for teaching in the required Physical Education program.Exhibiting leadership and professional behavior in dealing with student-athletesCompleting all assignments made by the Head Coach including but not limited to budget management, practice planning, event planning, and fundraisingExhibiting ownership, initiative, and follow-through on administrative work, including, but not limited to, recruiting of prospective student-athletesParticipate in friend-, fan-, and fund-raising activitiesParticipating in continuing education conferences, workshops, or meetings to increase professional skills and knowledgeExhibiting the highest professional standards and ethical behavior with adherence to NCAA, Council of Ivy League Presidents, University, and the Department of Intercollegiate Athletics and Physical Education rules and regulationsContributing to the maintenance of good working relationships with all members of the DepartmentPerforming duties as assigned by the Director, Intercollegiate Athletics and Physical Education 
 
 Minimum Requirements: 
 
 
 Bachelor's Degree, and/or equivalent related experience required
 
 Minimum Qualification: 
 
 
 A high level of competency in Wrestling skill instruction and motivationSuccessful experience in the recruitment of student-athletes in a highly competitive academic environmentSuccessful background in coaching wrestling, preferably at the NCAA Division I levelAbility to work effectively with students, faculty, administrators and alumniAbility to work within the framework of NCAA and Ivy League rules and regulationsAbility to work successfully in a need-based financial aid programValid Driver's License
