Shipping and Receiving Technician Lead

What You'll Do

As the Shipping and Receiving Lead, you'll play a key role in helping the department achieve daily production goals while fostering a collaborative, safe, and efficient work environment. You'll assist the department supervisor in leading day-to-day logistics operations across our hardware, shipping/receiving, and specialties departments.

• Coordinate daily labor and material needs to meet customer shipment schedules.
• Drive cross-training and onboarding efforts for new team members.
• Serve as a go-to liaison between departments such as Purchasing, Engineering, Keying, and the Dock.
• Facilitate problem-solving efforts, implement Lean initiatives, and support continuous improvement projects.
• Monitor and maintain supply levels (labels, boxes, tape, etc.).
• Support safety standards and best practices across all shipping and receiving operations.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 2+ years of relevant warehouse or logistics experience.
• Previous leadership or team lead experience preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work on your feet in a dynamic environment.
• Strong problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills.
• Comfortable navigating high email volume and coordinating across departments.
• Forklift experience is required.
