Position Summary Assist the Planning Supervisor in the development and review of Technical Work Documents and associated Re-entry Controls, re-certification testing, and Objective Quality Evidence required to support a Project's contracted work. Fully proficient individual contributor. * Makes decisions on complex and difficult situations independently. * Broad knowledge of own professional discipline, and general knowledge of related disciplines. * Builds relationships within and across teams and delivers key technical content to influence stakeholders. Duties And Responsibilities ESSENTIAL * Assist the Planning Supervisor in the development, review, delivery, and changes to Re-Entry Control (RECs) documents, Task Group Instructions (TGIs), Job Material Lists (JMLs), and other Technical Work Documents (TWDs) supporting contracted work. OTHER DUTIES AS ASSIGNED * The above list is only a representative sample of what the Planner III may be asked to do. Qualifications EDUCATION * 10 years of various trades experience with additional vocational courses in pipefitting, welding or hydraulic systems practice and theory; or High School/GED with Apprenticeship Diploma; or ten years military and/or civilian experience with shipboard systems repair, modification or installation in a repair department or shipyard. EXPERIENCE/KNOWLEDGE * 10 years of experience in writing maintenance, operations and troubleshooting procedures. In-depth working knowledge of the following: shipboard HM&E systems (repair/installation practices, procedures, alignments, troubleshooting, etc.), Combat System (VLS and torpedo stowage, handling, launching components & associated systems and the 3" Launcher system, Sail, Mast and antennas systems.
