Job Description: Purpose:The Electrical Maintenance Technician is responsible for supporting the Maintenance Supervisor with the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of electrical systems, machinery, equipment, and facility infrastructure. This role emphasizes electrical expertise in an industrial manufacturing environment. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:*(Other duties may be assigned)*
Associate degree or certification in electrical technology or a related field; or equivalent combination of education and experience. 1+ year of experience in electrical maintenance in an industrial setting preferred. Language Skills:Ability to read and interpret safety rules, electrical schematics, operating and maintenance manuals, and technical documents. Ability to communicate clearly with team members and write routine reports. Mathematical Skills:Ability to calculate measurements, ratios, and interpret technical data (e.g., voltage, amperage). Reasoning Ability:Ability to identify, analyze, and solve technical problems involving various systems and equipment. Physical Requirements:Regularly required to stand, walk, use hands and arms, talk and hear. Frequently required to stoop, kneel, crouch, and climb. Occasionally required to sit or crawl. Must be able to lift/move 25 lbs frequently, and up to 50 lbs occasionally. Vision requirements include close vision, depth perception, and color distinction. Work Environment:Regular exposure to moving mechanical parts and electrical hazards. Exposure to airborne particles, fumes, and potentially caustic chemicals. May work in high or confined spaces and occasionally outdoors. Noise level: Moderate to loud, depending on area and equipment.
