Position description
The Shyam
labis seeking a highly motivatedand enthusiastic Ph.D. or MD/Ph.D. scientist to join our team as a postdoctoral research scholar. We investigate the mechanisms behind corneal endothelial homeostasis and disease. We use mouse models, bioinformatics, and cell culture studies to pursue our research questions.

Education Requirement
Ph.D. in biology,or related field
Required Qualtifications
Recent publications demonstrating excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a dynamic research environment
Desirable Qualifications:

Mouse models of corneal endothelial diseases
Primary mouse and human corneal endothelial cell isolation and culture
- Commontechniques in biochemistry, cellular and molecular biology
Animal handling, animal injections
- Tissue processing and staining
- Cell/tissue imagingtechniques such as fluorescence and confocal microscopy
