OVERVIEW OF THE COMPANYFox TV Stations FOX Television Stations owns and operates 29 full power broadcast television stations in the U.S. These include stations located in 14 of the top 15 largest designated market areas, or DMAs, and duopolies in 11 DMAs, including the three largest DMAs (New York, Los Angeles and Chicago). Of these stations, 18 are affiliated with the FOX Network. In addition to distributing sports, entertainment and syndicated content, our television stations collectively produce approximately 1,200 hours of local news every week. These stations leverage viewer, distributor and advertiser demand for the FOX Network's national content. JOB DESCRIPTION

You'll work closely with digital producers, marketing, and newsroom staff to promote stories, publish video content, and support audience interaction. The ideal candidate is digitally curious, detail-oriented, and eager to learn how to build a modern local media brand across streaming platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

Content Promotion & Publishing

  • Assist in publishing video clips, stories, and promotional content to CTV, FAST, and digital platforms.
  • Write and edit headlines, social copy, and descriptions that encourage click-throughs and viewing.
  • Help schedule and update streaming content metadata (titles, descriptions, images) for optimal discovery and presentation.
  • Maintain a calendar, and lead the day-to-day planning of promotional engagement activities
  • Act as the primary point of contact for promotional engagement requests from other departments

Audience Engagement Support

  • Monitor and respond to viewer questions and comments on streaming and social platforms as needed.
  • Support live chats, viewer polls, or social elements during key events or newscasts.
  • Help surface interesting or trending stories for repromotion on digital platforms.

Platform Monitoring & Maintenance

  • Track performance of stories and videos using basic analytics tools.
  • Flag content that is underperforming, outdated, or miscategorized for correction or optimization.
  • Assist with content updates and scheduling on station websites, streaming apps, and OTT platforms.

Team Collaboration

  • Coordinate with newsroom and marketing teams to align promotion with programming priorities.
  • Work alongside digital producers and editors to maintain consistency across platforms.
  • Participate in brainstorms and share feedback on how viewers are interacting with content.

Qualifications:

  • 1-2 years of experience in digital media, social media, or content publishing (internships count!).
  • Strong writing and editing skills, especially for short-form digital and promotional content.
  • Familiarity with social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, TikTok, X).
  • Comfortable learning publishing tools, CMS, or video editing platforms.
  • Interest in digital trends, streaming platforms, and local news or entertainment content.

Nice to Have (but Not Required):

  • Basic knowledge of CTV/OTT platforms or video-on-demand content.
  • Experience with tools like Canva, Adobe Premiere, Edius, or a web CMS.
  • Curiosity about analytics, audience behavior, or digital marketing.

Pursuant to state and local pay disclosure requirements, the pay rate/range for this role, with final offer amount dependent on education, skills, experience, and location is $80,000.00 annually. This role is also eligible for various benefits, including medical/dental/vision, insurance, a 401(k) plan, paid time off, and other benefits in accordance with applicable plan documents. Benefits for Union represented employees will be in accordance with the applicable collective bargaining agreement.
