ABOUT THE ROLE

The Sr. Marketing Manager, App Store Optimization (ASO) will lead the strategy for FOX's new subscription streaming app, driving visibility, installs, and conversion across mobile and connected TV platforms. This role will also support optimization efforts for FOX's broader app portfolio, owning initiatives across keyword strategy, metadata, creative assets, and performance analysis to improve app rankings and user acquisition. The ideal candidate combines deep ASO expertise with cross-functional leadership, data fluency, and a passion for innovation.

A SNAPSHOT OF YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develop and lead ASO strategy for the launch of FOX's new streaming app and ongoing optimization of FOX's app ecosystem across the Apple App Store, Google Play, and CTV platforms (e.g., Roku, FireTV, Samsung)

  • Optimize metadata and creative assets-including keywords, descriptions, screenshots, videos, and icons-to boost app visibility and conversion

  • Partner with the design studio to guide creative development and ensure assets align with platform guidelines and broader marketing goals

  • Drive continuous improvement through A/B testing and experimentation, leveraging insights to refine app listings and improve performance

  • Monitor platform trends and algorithm changes to maintain best-in-class ASO practices

  • Use ASO tools (e.g., MobileAction, App Store Connect, Google Play Console) to track performance, identify growth opportunities, and optimize keyword and conversion strategies

  • Act as the primary liaison for app store initiatives and vendor relationships; collaborate closely with product teams on launches, content updates, and feature rollouts

  • Deliver actionable, data-driven insights and strategic recommendations to executive leadership

  • Manage and mentor direct reports, fostering professional growth and ensuring high-quality execution

WHAT YOU WILL NEED

  • 6+ years of digital marketing experience with a focus on ASO, app growth, or mobile acquisition

  • Proven success supporting app or product launches, ideally in the streaming, entertainment, or subscription space

  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to turn complex data into actionable insights

  • Experience leading cross-functional initiatives with product, design, engineering, and analytics teams

  • Deep understanding of app store ecosystems, ranking algorithms, and ASO best practices

  • Proficient in app intelligence tools such as App Store Connect, Google Play Console, MobileAction, or similar platforms

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills; comfortable engaging with executive stakeholders

  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple stakeholders and brands in a fast-paced environment

Pursuant to state and local pay disclosure requirements, the pay rate/range for this role, with final offer amount dependent on education, skills, experience, and location is $128,000.00-165,000.00 annually. This role is also eligible for an annual discretionary bonus, various benefits, including medical/dental/vision, insurance, a 401(k) plan, paid time off, and other benefits in accordance with applicable plan documents. Benefits for Union represented employees will be in accordance with the applicable collective bargaining agreement.
