Base Compensation Range: $24.04/hr - $31.25/hr

This position is eligible for an annual 10% bonus opportunity in addition to the base salary. This position is also commission eligible.

Our Calibration Solutions portfolio uses the principles of advanced metrology to enable customers to measure and calibrate critical parameters in applications such as Environmental and Process Monitoring, Dialysis, Gas Flow, Air Quality, and Torque Testing.

Job Summary

MesaLabs is seeking a driving and knowledgeable person with a passion for healthcare and life sciences. The MesaLabs Accelerated Career Excellence (ACE) Development Program is a two-to three-year inside sales development program located in Denver, Colorado. You will serve as a key point of contact for prospects and customers, identifying needs, delivering product education, and driving revenue growth through effective relationship-building and consultative sales. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who understands the scientific or medical device landscape and is eager to contribute to a mission-driven, fast-growing company.

The program is designed to help top talent develop their sales skills, develop knowledge of the products, customers, and industries that Calibration Solutions supports within MesaLabs, and become a future leader within our company. Under general supervision, you will provide sales support for Sales Managers and Channel Account Managers. You will also provide technical support, product selection assistance, and order processing assistance to a set of customers in an assigned region. This position will help you gain experience in a sales role while you provide value to our customers and field sales team.

During the program, you will be located in Denver, Colorado. Upon completion of the development program, your permanent role/assignment could be in any major city in the United States.

Duties/Responsibilities



  • Engage with healthcare providers, lab managers, researchers, and procurement teams via phone, email, and video to promote product solutions
  • Qualify inbound inquiries and proactively prospect into target accounts using structured outreach campaigns
  • Lead product presentations internal to your team a to prepare for customer facing presentations and webinar opportunities
  • Conduct virtual demos or product discussions tailored to medical/scientific use cases
  • Collaborate with field sales, product management, technical support, and customer service teams to address customer questions and ensure a seamless handoff
  • Stay current on industry trends, competitor products, and regulatory considerations
  • Meet and exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue targets
  • Provide technical, commercial, and pricing support to field sales personnel and customers.
  • Develop relationships with managed and maintained customer accounts to generate new business opportunities and promote new product releases.
  • Build Product/systems knowledge, product knowledge, learn sales management tools, learn sales tactics and processes
  • Maintain up-to-date CRM records and accurately forecast sales pipeline
  • Learn how to review sales data and understand how to customize views that are relevant to customer type and region; at some level become familiar with how to create
  • reports (in Salesforce, Tableau and/or PowerBI)
  • Assist in increasing customer's product/service usage which will consist of live demonstrations, reporting feedback, and collecting product data to be uploaded


Experience/Education



  • Bachelors Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Undergraduate Seniors to 0-2 years' experience (engineering, life science, technical, and business degrees)


Knowledge and Skillsets Required

Required:



  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Familiarity with CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce) and sales enablement software
  • Proficiency with MS Office programs (MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint), internet software and e-mail
  • Interest in or experience with life sciences, biotech, diagnostics, or medical devices
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail


Preferred:



  • Experience selling to healthcare providers, labs, hospitals, or research institutions
  • Knowledge of regulatory environment (FDA, CLIA, etc.) is a plus
  • Available to travel up to 20% - dependent upon your assignments
