How you'll make an impact:

The Vice President, Sales Operations plays a vital role in the performance of the SiriusXM Media organization and serves as the backbone of our revenue engine, enabling scale, efficiency, and visibility across the customer lifecycle through oversight and optimization of all aspects of sales operations, from strategy development to system implementation. Through thought leadership and enterprise-wide cross-departmental coordination, this VP will ensure that SiriusXM remains a market leader in the advertising space while pushing the entire organization towards continuous improvement and innovative solutions.

What you'll do:

  • Develop and implement sales operations strategies that are aligned to market opportunity, business objectives and revenue forecasts, in partnership with leadership. Creating an active feedback loop between market signals and sales team priorities

  • Manage and optimize the end to end sales operations ecosystem, including: territory management and account assignments, sales quotas, CRM systems, sales tools, sales analytics and revenue forecasts.

  • Lead the team in the implementation and management of sales processes and systems, including: scalable workflows, processes and tools across the sales funnel, ensuring consistent execution and adoption of innovative solutions across teams.

  • Develop and maintain dashboards and reporting to track KPIs (pipeline, bookings etc) and provide insights for visibility in strategic decisions.

  • Drive rigorous forecasting processes, pipeline hygiene, and funnel analysis to enable predictable revenue performance and partner cross functionally to publish weekly and monthly updates to the revenue outlook and prepare related commentary.

  • Facilitate alignment between Sales, Sales Marketing, Compensation, Advertising Technology, and Finance to ensure consistent and accurate data flows.

What you'll need:

  • 15+ years of experience in Sales Operations or related roles in advertising

  • 8+ years of leadership experience managing high-performing teams of 15 or more individuals

  • Deep knowledge of sales processes, CRM systems / Salesforce, sales tools and revenue tech stacks

  • Successfully implemented / renovated Salesforce.com instances, ideally with oversight of administration

  • Experience overseeing sales quota setting and sales compensation for large sales teams (100+ sellers), ideally across multiple sales channels

  • Superior communication and presentation skills

  • Ability to translate complex business problems / solutions to an executive audience

  • Demonstrated ability to manage cross-functional projects and influence stakeholders at all levels

  • Strong analytical mindset, proficiency in MS Excel / BI tools; experience with AI based sales tools a plus

  • Excellent time management skills and ability to manage through multiple competing priorities

  • Demonstrated ability to motivate resources in a matrix-style environment

  • Detailed understanding of advertising, ideally in the entertainment / media landscape

  • Must have legal right to work in the US

At SiriusXM, we carefully consider a wide range of factors when determining compensation, including your background and experience. These considerations can cause your compensation to vary. We expect the base salary for this position to be in the range of $197,000 to $305,000 and will depend on your skills, qualifications, and experience. Additionally, this role might be eligible for discretionary short-term and long-term incentives. We encourage all interested candidates to apply.
