Our physicians and advanced practice providers have specific expertise in efficiently managing work-related illnesses and injuries. Our clinic only treats medical problems related to the workplace.

In addition to injury and illness care, we offer a variety of services to assist with both hiring new and supporting existing employees. We offer Department of Transportation (DOT) physicals, pre-placement drug screens, general physical exams, alcohol breath analysis, eye exams, and specialized tests such as x-rays, pulmonary testing (spirometry), hearing testing (audiometry), and EKGs.

GENERAL SUMMARY:

Under direct supervision of the provider and nursing leadership, the Medical Assistant performs a variety of administrative and clinical tasks to assist in the quality and compassionate care provided to patients. These duties may include but are not limited to:

• Greeting and escorting patients to the exam room.
• Obtaining medical histories.
• The measurement and recording of vital signs.
• Preparing patients for an examination/procedure.
• Assisting the provider during the examination/procedure.

SHIFT DETAILS: The schedule for this position is Monday to Friday

8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

LOCATION: 100 E Michigan Ave Ste 101 Jackson, MI 49201

STATUS: Full Time, 40 hours per week

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

• High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
• Basic computer knowledge and keyboarding skills preferred.
• Ability to perform a wide variety of clinical skills as related to ambulatory patient care preferred.
• Ability to problem-solve preferred. Possess effective interpersonal and communication skills preferred.
• EPIC (Electronic Medical Record) experience preferred.
