Ingram Content Group (ICG) is hiring for a Platform Experience Manager to contribute to our IngramSpark team in LaVergne, TN just outside Nashville.

As the Platform Experience Manager, you will partner with the Senior Business Operations Manager and members of the Business Operations and IT teams to define, ideate, prototype, test & launch new products on the IngramSpark & Lightning Source platform(s). Establishes primary focus for new features alongside business leadership by defining users and their problems across the full suite of product offerings and prioritizes these features based on the needs of the business & customer base. Gathers internal feedback and produces design layouts & wireframes with UX at their focus and designs high-fidelity prototypes. Manages testing of all new features, including timelines, feedback & implementation of changes across impacted departments. Through user engagement, reviews the existing UX paths to identify areas of improvement. Uses a strong understanding of design principles, as well as an understanding of the business & customer-base, to create solutions for programs and services of the company. Combines user experience and industry best practices with strong design principles and creative execution to develop high-performing product features.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in graphic design, marketing or related field OR directly related year for year experience
  • 2 years' specific market or equivalent experience in product design, project management and UX creation
  • 2 years' experience with professional design software (ie., Figma, XD)
  • A portfolio that demonstrates the ability to design interactive experiences.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 1-2 years' experience working with Figma
  • Background in Web Design: including Responsive Design Principles
  • Experience within the publishing industry
  • Proficiency in creating wireframes and interactive prototypes to communicate design intent
  • Proficiency in translating high-fidelity prototypes into responsive HTML/CSS for seamless developer handoff

Key Responsibilities:

  • Delivers unique, creative solutions to user issues, driven from a deep understanding of the customer experience and the problems facing professional and self-publishers.
  • Assists management, IT, and Product & Services Managers with all operations regarding the development of new products & services on the IngramSpark and Lightning Source websites.
  • Influences the profile of new products & enhancement of existing products with research and data while performing design work with wireframes, mockups, user journeys, and interactive prototypes.
  • Conducts user research and analyses competitor offerings to produce hard-data and reports to management stakeholders to help determine direction for new website features.
  • Assists management, IT, and Product & Services Managers with prioritization of prospective features & development of new products & services on the IngramSpark and Lightning Source websites.

Hiring Salary Range:$72,895k-$92,168k. This range represents the anticipated low and high end of the salary for this position. It will be determined by factors including but not limited to: the applicant's education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, geographic location, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data.
