STV is seeking a Junior Electrical Engineering Specialist to join our Systems & Security group at our New York City office.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the design and development of electrical systems for transportation and infrastructure projects.

  • Support senior engineers with power distribution, lighting, and control system designs.

  • Perform electrical calculations, load analyses, and equipment selection under supervision.

  • Review technical specifications and assist with the preparation of design documents and reports.

  • Conduct field investigations and site surveys to support design and installation efforts.

  • Participate in quality assurance and testing procedures during project implementation.

  • Collaborate with cross-disciplinary teams to ensure integration of systems.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.

  • 0-3 years of experience in electrical design or engineering support, preferably in transportation or infrastructure projects.

  • Basic understanding of NEC, IEEE, and other applicable electrical codes and standards.

  • Familiarity with AutoCAD, Revit, or similar design software.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

  • Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

  • EIT certification or interest in pursuing PE licensure is preferred.

Compensation Range:

$74,112.66 - $98,816.88
