Assistant Project Manager, Communications - Aviation

STV is seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Assistant Project Manager, Communications - Aviation to support one of our PM/CM clients in Houston, TX. This position is designated to be onsite 5 days/week. This role will work closely to develop, implement, and manage communication efforts that align with organizational goals, as well as other assigned projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with leadership to develop communications, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives
• Write, edit, and design original content for internal updates, event collateral, and stakeholder presentations
• Assist in maintaining a consistent flow of communication on project status updates both internally and externally
• Maintain and update internal communications assets such as graphic and photo libraries
• Other assignments as needed

Skills and Attributes for Success:

• 4-6 years of experience in communications, preferably within the Aviation and/or Construction industry
• Demonstrates a strong understanding communication strategies and principles
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
• Clear and effective written and verbal communication skills
• Experience working with leadership teams and handling sensitive projects with discretion
• Strong project management skills with attention to detail and the ability to work independently
• Creative thinker with experience in storytelling and content creation

Preferred Technical Skills:

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Excel) and SharePoint
• Desired experience in Adobe Creative Cloud, especially InDesign
• Experience in presentation design and visual storytelling
• Familiarity with AI tools for enhancing communication is a plus

Education:

• Bachelor's degree in Communications or a related field-or equivalent experience
