Ensure facility environmental, health, and safety policies and procedures are in full compliance with corporate, local, state, and federal rules and regulations (such as OSHA, RCRA, FIFRA, NPDES, HazCom, Confined Space, Lockout/Tagout, PPE, Respiratory Protection).
Periodically conduct drills and inspect Koppers facilities to detect existing or potential accident and health hazards, determine corrective or preventative measures where needed, and follow up to ensure measures have been implemented.
Assist manager with other duties such as TSCA statements, Management of Change, and Federal (US and Canada) pesticide applications, production, adverse effects, and sales reports.
Candidate Qualifications/ Requirements
3-5 years of experience in a regulated industry preferred. Regulatory experience ideal, but may consider research and development, quality assurance, or related field.
Knowledge of domestic and international chemical, biocidal and/or pesticidal regulations, specifically GHS, USEPA FIFRA, USEPA TSCA, Canadian PMRA, and Canadian WHMIS.
Working knowledge of MS Office applications (including Word, Excel, Outlook, SharePoint, and Teams), Adobe Acrobat, and other computer programs used for data generation and tracking.
