Description Acara Solutions is seeking a Structural Design Engineer to join our client on a Direct Hire opportunity located in Grapeland, TX. Salary: Up to $130K/yr (DOE) Schedule: M-F, 100% onsite (flexible first-shift hours) Benefits: Comprehensive package including bonus & annual profit sharing Key Responsibilities: Create precise, custom steel joist designs supporting diverse, high-impact construction projects. Perform structural design work in accordance with industry standards and company manufacturing processes. Review contract documents, including structural and architectural drawings, and project specifications. Provide direction and technical support to detailers, shop orders, and production teams throughout project design and development. Communicate effectively with internal and external customers, including other design professionals. Mentor junior engineers and interns. Job Requirements Required Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering (ABET-accredited). F.E. (Fundamentals of Engineering) certification. Minimum 4 years of experience as a Structural Engineer. Preferred Qualifications Professional Engineer (P.E.) licensure.
