Job Description:The Anesthesia Technician is a non-licensed employee whose role it is to assist anesthesiologists in the acquisition, preparation, and application of equipment and supplies required for the administration of anesthesia. Experience: 2 years Healthcare - Anesthesiology Technician Required and/or 2 years Healthcare - Perioperative/Surgical Services Required and/or 2 years Healthcare - Emergency Department Required and/or 2 years Cardiopulmonary - Respiratory Care Practitioner Required or Related Experience Required Certifications/Licensures: BLS - Basic Life Support - Certification Required Skills: Knowledgeable in sterile technique and the principles of aseptic practice required. Manual dexterity and mechanical aptitude required. Maintains professional and personal integrity. A high degree of organizational skills, ability to set priorities, manage multiple demands and the ability to complete tasks under strict time lines is required. Follows OR guidelines regarding cleaning techniques/principles required. Maintains clean/sterile fields in OR when assisting anesthesiologists during cases. Demonstrates can assist in the OR for anesthesia related procedures. Work Shift:08.0 - 12:00 - 20:30 No Waive (United States of America) Pay Range: $38.41 - $51.85 Hourly Offer amounts are based on demonstrated/relevant experience and/or licensure. Pay will be adjusted to the local market if hired outside of the Bay Area. Note: Positions at JMH which are exempt (not eligible for overtime) under the level of Manager are listed as hourly for compensation purposes on this posting.
