POSITION SUMMARY

This position is responsible for supervising effective and safe daily activities of subordinates and meeting deadlines.

WHAT YOU WILL DO:

  • Coordinate team's work efforts within the Materials department.
  • Utilize progressive discipline process up to written warnings to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Complete assigned tasks in station to the highest quality standards.
  • Comply with the established procedures.
  • Ensure proper training and when possible cross-train all station members.
  • Report injuries immediately to appropriate personnel.
  • Ensure that your workstation is clean at the end of shift.
  • Maintain good documentation in completing proper forms.
  • Organize, plan and execute everything in the workstation to ensure daily schedule is met.
  • Keep track inventory and report any inaccuracy.
  • Communicate with team members and minimally conduct daily meetings.
  • Able to communicate and support a changing environment.
  • Able to learn the Oracle system and be able to use it daily.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

WHAT YOU NEED TO BE SUCCESSFUL:

  • Exceptional leadership and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to read blueprints and understand technical documentation.
  • Familiarity with production processes and software, including Oracle and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Detail-oriented with a proactive approach to quality control.
  • Experience in a manufacturing or assembly environment preferred.

Shift Details

  • 2nd Shift
  • Monday-Thursday 3:30pm-2:00am
  • Occasional OT Friday/Saturday
