About the Role

We are seeking an Operator 2 to join our team at our Alsip, IL bakery. As an Operator 2, you will be accountable for monitoring product quality, supporting packaging operations, and ensuring compliance with food safety and operational standards to maintain efficient production flow.

Shift & Schedule

• Shift: 2nd
• Hours: 3:45PM - 2:15AM
• Weekend Availability: Required

Compensation

• Hourly Rate: $20-$21 per hour

Core Accountabilities (What You'll Be Doing)

• Monitor product quality prior to packaging and remove items that do not meet specifications
• Support packaging line operations by ensuring proper equipment function and reporting issues promptly
• Perform rework and scrap handling in accordance with food safety and operational procedures
• Maintain accurate communication with Leads and Supervisors regarding product or equipment concerns
• Follow GMPs and maintain a clean, organized, and safe production environment
• Contribute to consistent product flow and operational efficiency across the line
• Perform additional duties as assigned to support production needs

Minimum Qualifications (What You Bring to the Table)

• High school diploma or GED
• Ability to work in a fastpaced production environment
• At least 1 year of related experience and/or training
• Ability to communicate clearly in English (written and verbal)
• Ability to work safely and follow all GMP and food safety requirements
• Comfort using basic computer or production screen interfaces as required

Preferred Qualifications (Extra Ingredients for Success)

• Experience working in food manufacturing
• Familiarity with packaging equipment or quality inspection processes
• Ability to work effectively in a team-based environment
