Description
This is a 6-week internship program for university students interested in exploring a career within premium finance. The purpose of this program will be to provide practical knowledge, internal department exposure, and networking opportunities. Performs other projects and duties as assigned. Essential Functions, Duties, and Responsibilities: * Participate in training on the different departments within USPF and gain an understanding of how the business functions. * Perform duties and meet deadlines as assigned * Shadow team managers/members. * Identify personal strengths and areas of improvement and work with team to grow in these areas. * Participate in corporate training opportunities to further aid in professional development. * Create a working document to capture key learnings/takeaways from each rotation in preparation for final presentation at the conclusion of the internship program. Required Knowledge, Skills and Competencies: * Beginner proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite products. * Must have the ability to work in a collaborative, team environment. * Must have the ability to communicate in one-on-one and group settings such as business meetings, sales calls, training sessions. Industry and Work Experience: * Must be officially enrolled in an undergraduate bachelor program with a major in areas such as Business, Finance, or Accounting.
