As the Specialist, Vehicle Information you will be responsible for being a critical liaison between our organization and the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM), ensuring the accurate and efficient flow of vehicle data across systems. This role is responsible for managing and validating vehicle specifications, configurations changes from time of placement, and order details within our internal platforms and the OEM's systems to facilitate smooth order placement and timely delivery to clients.

A Day in the Life

Product Knowledge

  • Serve as the primary point of contact between the company and the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) for all vehicle order-related communications and coordination.

  • Manage and maintain accurate vehicle data within internal systems and OEM platforms, including specifications, configurations, pricing, and availability.

  • Facilitate the end-to-end order process, ensuring timely and accurate placement of vehicle orders in alignment with client requirements and OEM guidelines.

  • Monitor order status and delivery timelines, proactively identifying and resolving any issues or delays in collaboration with the OEM and internal stakeholders.

  • Validate and reconcile order information, ensuring consistency between internal records and OEM data to prevent discrepancies

Client/Vendor Management

  • Continuous relationship between cross-functional departments: NVAC, Engineers, and FPS

  • Continuous relationship between the OEM and Element

Collaboration

  • Document coordination and execution between departments or clients

  • Financial reconciliation on difference in product offers at time of placement to time of production

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, logistics, and customer service, to ensure a seamless client experience from order initiation to final delivery.

Requirements

  • Must have a Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent work experience

  • Automotive/Fleet Industry experience preferred

  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) a must

  • Proven analytical and problem-solving experience/skillset a plus

  • Negotiation skills and experience a plus

  • Document coordination and execution between departments or clients

  • Relationship between the OEM and Element as well as internal stakeholders

  • Innovative and creative thinking

The hiring base salary range for this position is $51,600- $71,000 annually. Actual compensation within this range will be dependent upon the individual's knowledge, skills, experience, equity with other team members, and alignment with market data.

Please note that the disclosed salary range is solely for candidates hired to perform work within this geographic location. Candidates hired to work in other locations will be subject to the pay range associated with that location.
