Overview Element has an opportunity for an experienced Quality Manager to join our rapidly expanding team. The successful candidate will provide governance for the performance of quality at our Huntsville, Alabama, location whilst maintaining and developing relationships with customers and improving processes. Nuclear experience to 10CFR50 Appendix B is essential, experience in NQA-1, ASME Boiler and Pressure Vessel Code and ISO17025:2017 are preferred. Maintain the Element Quality Management System (eQMS), customer approvals (as applicable), improve first time right (FTR) performance, maintain and develop relationships with customers, enhancing processes and procedures to realize efficiency. Advise operational colleagues of the importance of quality, accuracy and integrity in the provision of the diverse range of services we provide. The Quality Manager will ensure that the Element quality policy, processes and procedures are effectively implemented and maintained. Support quality improvement activities, working closely with operational colleagues and the wider Element quality community. Salary: $100,000 - $140,000 DOE Responsibilities Contribute to the delivery of Element's vision, strategy and objectives: * Demonstrate leadership and commitment with regard to Quality and Quality Management, recognizing Skills / Qualifications Knowledge and experience in the Nuclear Industry and Testing, Inspection and Certification (TIC) industry/ materials testing or a related environment (e.g. manufacturing) * Degree educated, preferably in a scientific or engineering discipline, in a relevant discipline (or equivalent) Company Overview Element is one of the fastest growing testing, inspection and certification businesses in the world.
