Administrative Clinical Care Partner - Float Team

In this role you will work within the CNA scope of practice, you will assist patients with admission procedures, during transfer procedures, with discharge procedures; provide for patients' personal hygiene; assist with patients' excretory needs, meals and in providing for patient safety and comfort measures. You may also provide clerical support to the designated unit.

This position floats to various units within the hospital locations below based on the patient census and the skills of the Administrative Clinical Care Partner/CNA/Staff:

  • Ronald Reagan UCLA Medical Center
  • UCLA Santa Monica
  • UCLA West Valley Medical Center

An ability to work efficiently and effectively with others, providing compassionate and cutting edge patient care while also contributing to the positive and collaborative team environment at UCLA Health is a must.

Salary Range: $25.30 - $33.35 Hourly

Qualifications

We're seeking a highly-skilled, self-motivated professional with:

  • Current, valid CA Certified Nursing Assistant certificate (CNA),required
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Red Cross or American Heart Association,required
  • No prior CNA experience required; One year CNA experience, preferred
  • Clerical experience in an acute hospital environment, preferred
  • Ability to complete an 8-hour computer data entry training course
  • Ability to perform all delegated nursing and PT/OT/RT assisted tasks
  • Understanding of basic medical terminology and abbreviations, preferred
  • Ability to work efficiently and effectively with others
  • Skill in evaluating and reporting emergent patient/unit information
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment under a heavy workload
