We are seeking a Facilities Engineer to lead capital projects and support facilities engineering across out St. Cloud and Crookston plants. Your project management expertise, paired with strong technical skills will help enhance operations, support lean initiatives, and maintain high standards of safety, sustainability, and performance.

WHAT YOU WILL DO:

  • Lead and manage multiple capital and facility improvement projects from conception to execution
  • Support Facility Council initiatives, including business cases, costing forecasts, and presentations
  • Prepare and manage project budgets and implementation plans
  • Review and support lease negotiations for North American Bus and Coach (NABC) facilities
  • Maintain accurate CAD layouts across all facilities
  • Specify and coordinate capital equipment upgrades, installations, and modifications
  • Collaborate with Manufacturing Engineering, Process Planning, and Tool & Die teams
  • Champion lean manufacturing initiatives as they relate to facilities
  • Promote safety, sustainability, and continuous improvement across all activities
  • Adjust focus and priorities to ensure project momentum and deadline compliance
  • Contribute to strategic make/buy analysis and related business cases
Requirements
  • Degree in Engineering, or equivalent combination of education and related work experience
  • 2-5 years of project management experience (PMP certification is an asset)
  • Experience with AutoCAD, Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint), and Oracle
  • Ability to interpret engineering and architectural drawings
  • Strong organizational, presentation, and verbal communication skills
  • Lean certification or equivalent experience implementing lean principles
  • Proven team player with adaptability in fast-paced environments
