    Wages and Benefits:
    Minimum hourly rate is $22.15

    Job Responsibilities:
    1. Under supervision of the reading specialist, work with students in curricular programs such as Wilson, Sonday, Lexia, Read Live, Fountas & Pinnell.
    2. Reinforce the instructional plan laid out by the classroom teacher and reading specialist by working with students individually or in small groups.
    3. Under the direction of the reading specialist, administer assessment of student placement and progress through Wist, Wade, Sonday assessment, and bimonthly progress monitoring for fluency; monitor and report the progress of individual students.
    4. Plan and prepare study aids such as flashcards and worksheets.
    5. Performs other duties of a similar nature or level.

    Qualifications:
    1. Experience in working with middle school age children.
    2. Evidence of a strong background and training in reading and language arts.
    3. Evidence of strong technology skills.
    4. Successful completion of Wilson Reading I is required.
    5. Training in three or more of the following programs (or similar): Read Naturally (Read Live), Fundations, Just Words, Lexia Core 5, Read Naturally (Read Live), Sonday systems I and II, Learning AL and/or Razz Kids.
    6. Demonstrated ability to take initiative.
    7. Demonstrated ability to respect, protect, and maintain confidentiality.
    8. Demonstrated ability to follow through on a project.
    9. Demonstrated organizational skills, punctuality, and efficiency.
    10. Clear communication in speaking and writing, and interpersonal skills as applied to interaction with coworkers, supervisor, parents, the general public, etc. sufficient to exchange or convey information and to receive work direction.
