Job Brief: Reporting to the Regulatory Reporting Data Design Manager, the Axiom Configuration Developer will be a key member of the Regulatory Reporting team. This role involves monitoring, configuring, troubleshooting, and maintaining regulatory reporting processes using AxiomSL ControllerView software. The developer will collaborate with technology and reporting teams to develop and implement changes to regulatory reports efficiently and effectively

Essential Job Functions:

  • Act as the primary contact for issues related to AxiomSL ControllerView software configuration for assigned regulatory reports
  • Work with various business and technical teams to develop solutions for regulatory reports such as RWA, FR2052A, FFIEC031, FRY9C, FDIC 370, etc.
  • Coordinate, develop, and test new functions and features in an agile environment
  • Maintain procedures and system configuration documentation
  • Educate team members on system functionality, configuration, and design
  • Occasionally work outside of normal business hours

Required Qualifications/Competencies:

  • Minimum of 2-5 years of experience in computer programming, systems architecture, or information technology
  • Experience with AxiomSL ControllerView configuration and implementation, including data sources, data models, shorthands, portfolios, aggregations, reports, and workflows
  • Proficiency in Software Design & Development, and experience in supporting, troubleshooting, and resolving issues with financial system reporting environments (e.g., AxiomSL, Oracle, data warehouses)
  • Ability to adapt to changing business needs and requirements
  • Strong quantitative, analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
  • Action-oriented; drive continuous improvement in an agile environment
  • Organized self-starter with the ability to work independently and think creatively in a fast-paced environment
  • Attention to detail, including follow-up and escalation of issues when necessary
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Initiative to challenge current processes and implement change
  • Ability to understand and interpret client requests, respond to questions clearly, and give cohesive presentations
  • Proven team player, willing to assist others to ensure group deadlines are met and quality standards are achieved
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Teams)

Preferred Skills:

  • Axiom Controller View Certification
  • Experience with Axiom Reg Cloud
  • Experience working with data warehousing in the banking or financial services industry
  • Familiarity with bank regulatory reports such as FFIEC 031, FRY9C, FR2052a, FDIC 370
  • Working knowledge of Oracle databases
  • Proficiency in analytical tools (SQL, SAS EG, Tableau)
  • Experience with Google Cloud Platform and Jira

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS

This position is eligible to earn a base salary in the range of $115,000 to $130,000 annually depending on location and job-related factors such as level of experience. Compensation for this role also includes eligibility for short-term incentive compensation and deferred incentive compensation subject to individual and company performance.
