Senior Advanced Engineering Technician

ACARA Solutions and our client in Florham Park, NJ. have a contract to direct hire position available

• Interprets complex engineering drawings, diagrams, and schematics, and understands the necessary interfaces.
• Performs complex system-level troubleshooting to component-level troubleshooting
• Works from schematics, diagrams, written and verbal descriptions, layouts, or defined plans to perform testing, checkout, and troubleshooting functions.
• Lays out, builds, calibrates, adjusts, installs, and maintains equipment, components, devices, or systems.

• Associate Degree.
• Minimum 5 years of experience as an Engineering Technician.

• Proficiency in fiber splicing, handling, and management.
• Proficiency in optical testing and measurements.
• Understands implications of work and provides applicable solutions
• Distinct knowledge of specialized function and proficiency in applying and interpreting complex specifications, requirements, standards, and practices.

Additional Information:

• Upon offer of employment, the individual will be subject to a background check and a drug screen.
• Willingness to travel regularly out of state to third-party test facilities.
