Change and Incident Manager Lead

Job Summary

In this role, we are seeking a seasoned Change Manager to join our organization and drive the transformation of our change and incident management processes. The ideal candidate will lead initiatives to design and implement robust frameworks that ensure efficient, consistent, and effective change and incident handling. This role will be pivotal in redefining our Change Advisory Board (CAB) process and enhancing incident management protocols to support our dynamic business environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, document, and implement comprehensive change management and incident management processes.
  • Redefine and enhance the Change Advisory Board (CAB) process to improve governance, decision-making, and accountability.
  • Identify process bottlenecks and implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance service delivery and operational efficiency.
  • Collaborate with IT, operations, business units, and senior leadership to align change and incident management processes with organizational goals.
  • Facilitate communication and training sessions to ensure all stakeholders understand new processes and best practices.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert in change management and incident resolution, providing guidance and support across departments.
  • Lead risk assessments and impact analyses for proposed changes to ensure minimal disruption to business operations.
  • Develop mitigation strategies and contingency plans for managing high-impact incidents.
  • Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to monitor the effectiveness of change and incident management processes.
  • Generate regular reports for management, highlighting process performance, areas for improvement, and compliance with industry standards.

Qualifications

  • Relevant degree.
  • Bachelor's degree preferred in Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
  • Proven experience in managing change and incident processes within a complex organizational environment.
  • Hands-on experience with IT service management frameworks (e.g., ITIL) and best practices.
  • Demonstrated success in redefining and implementing CAB processes and incident management protocols.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for process improvement.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
  • Effective project management skills, with the ability to lead cross-functional initiatives and manage competing priorities.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Relevant certifications such as ITIL Foundation, Change Management Practitioner, or equivalent are preferred.

Estimated Hiring Range:

At Vizient, we consider skills, experience, and organizational needs in our compensation approach. Geographic factors may adjust the range estimate and hires typically fall below the top range. Compensation decisions are tailored to individual circumstances. The current salary range for this role is $102,400.00 to $179,000.00.

This position is also incentive eligible.
