Job Title: Physician (Family medicine/Internal Medicine/ Emergency Medicine) Location: Toledo OH 43608 Duration: 6 months to Long term Shift: 08:00am-05:00pm (M-F) Hours/week: 40 Hours/week Required Education: Healthcare-professional level BLS/ CPR certification Ohio licensure Copy of Board Certification Roles and Responsibilities: Working collaboratively with intra and interdepartmental staff to administer treatment for patients utilizing nationally recognized treatment standards and documenting utilizing an electronic health record system. Conducting exams and writing evaluations and reports. Ordering and interpreting diagnostic testing. Managing medication. Completing reclassifications and other reviews as indicated. Making referrals for specialized care or treatment. Performing duties in accordance with scope of practice, ODRC policies, procedures, protocols, and related American Correctional Association standards. Participating in Continuous Quality Improvement meetings and activities, including peer reviews. Engaging in collaborative agreements, as needed. Caseload: Up to 2.5 patients/hour.
