Role: .NET and SQL Developer

Roles and responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, test, and deploy .NET applications (C#, ASP.NET, MVC, Web API).
  • Write complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and optimize database performance.
  • Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
  • Maintain and enhance existing applications by identifying areas for improvement.
  • Ensure code quality through unit testing, code reviews, and adherence to best practices.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve application and database issues.
  • Participate in Agile/Scrum development processes and contribute to sprint planning and retrospectives.
  • Document technical specifications and system designs.

Required Qualifications:

  • Experience with .NET Core and modern web frameworks (e.g., Angular, React).
  • Knowledge of cloud platforms (e.g., Azure, AWS).
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
  • Microsoft certifications (e.g., MCSA, MCSD) are a plus.

Salary and Other Compensation:

The annual salary for this position is between $ 81,848 - $ 100,000 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

This position is also eligible for Cognizant's discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant's applicable plans.
