Job Title: Member Service Representative (MSR)
Job Description The Member Service Representative (MSR) will respond to inquiries and requests from members and other individuals within a 24/7 high-volume, schedule-driven, and structured contact center operation. This role requires providing information regarding our products and services, demonstrating knowledge, active listening, adaptability to multiple systems, and engagement methods to ensure an optimal member experience and customer service. The MSR will perform transactions or related functions for savings, checking, consumer loans, credit cards, IRAs, and other accounts, as well as advising members on other products and services that may fit their needs to promote positive member interaction. Responsibilities * Respond to inquiries and requests from members and other individuals. * Provide information regarding products and services with active listening and multiple system adaptability. * Perform transactions for savings, checking, consumer loans, credit cards, IRAs, and other accounts. * Advise members of other products and services that may fit their needs. * Engage in back-to-back inbound phone calls in a high-volume contact center. Essential Skills * Customer service * Data entry * Handling inbound and outbound calls * Experience in a call center * Policy compliance * Ability to work in a high-volume and structured environment Additional Skills & Qualifications * Experience in call center, administrative, secretary/receptionist, banking/mortgage, or high-volume retail environment Why Work Here? Work Environment This is a remote opportunity, and candidates must live within 60 miles of Suite 250, Virginia Beach, VA. The contact center operates 24/7/365, offering flexibility to ensure minimal impact on personal or family life. Scheduled breaks and meals are to be taken as planned. Most shifts are flexible, with a one-hour variation in start and end times. Be prepared for extended periods of taking back-to-back calls, potentially up to four hours before a break. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Virginia Beach, Virginia. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $19.50 - $19.50/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
