The Staff Technical Specialist - Racing Mechanic supports the development and testing, and leads the build and assembly, of racing vehicles for Harley-Davidson Factory Racing. This role is responsible for building and maintaining prototype performance racing motorcycles. This role will require operating in various conditions, with various tools, to build safe and effective solutions for data acquisition, testing, and racing. This role will act as a trusted advisor to riders (test riders and racers) and race team crew members, evaluating their needs and performing updates and maintenance to keep the vehicles operating safely at peak performance. This key role will lead a team of mechanics to maintain a fleet of motorcycles in support of a new H-D global racing initiative within the motorcycle world championship. This role may be required to split time onsite at both our Product Development Center in Wauwatosa, WI and our Corporate Headquarters on Juneau Ave. in Milwaukee, WI. Job Responsibilities
